What is Easy Read?
Easy Read information is written for people who find standard writing hard — including many people with intellectual disability. Sentences are short. Each line has one idea. Hard words are avoided or explained.
Below are Easy Read summaries of three things: who we are, how to get support from us, and how to complain.
Who we are — Easy Read
We are Endless Possibilities NT.
People call us EPNT.
We are an NDIS provider in Darwin.
Being registered means we follow the NDIS rules.
We support people with disability.
We also support their families.
We can support you at home.
We can support you in the community.
You choose what your support looks like.
How to get support — Easy Read
Step 1. Contact us.
You can call us on 0431 044 443.
You can email admin@epnt.com.au.
Someone you trust can contact us for you.
Step 2. We have a yarn with you.
You tell us what you want and need.
Step 3. We make a plan together.
The plan is about your goals.
Step 4. Your support starts.
We will be honest if there is a wait.
How to complain — Easy Read
You can complain if you are not happy.
Complaining is OK.
It is your right.
Call 0431 044 443 to complain.
Or email admin@epnt.com.au.
Or tell us at our Winnellie office.
Someone else can complain for you.
We will listen.
We will tell you what happens next.
You will not get in trouble for complaining.
Your support will not change because you complained.
You can also complain to the NDIS Commission.
The NDIS Commission is not part of EPNT.
Their website is ndiscommission.gov.au.
Printed and Easy Read copies
We are working on printable Easy Read documents (PDFs) for this website. They are not ready yet — we would rather say that honestly than promise a download that is not here.
In the meantime, we are happy to:
- print and post any page of this website in large print,
- put information into Easy Read for you on request, or
- read information to you over the phone.
