Everyday Life and Community

Daily living support in Darwin.

Practical, friendly help with the everyday stuff — routines, meals, shopping and keeping your home running the way you like it.

What it is, in plain English.

Daily living support is practical help with everyday life — building routines that actually stick, planning and cooking meals together, shopping trips and errands, and keeping your home feeling like yours.

It sits alongside our other daily supports: help with day-to-day tasks like cleaning, laundry, appointments and paperwork, and respectful self-care support — all done with you, not just for you.

Who it may suit

  • The everyday juggle is taking up too much energy.
  • The to-do list keeps winning and you want a hand that keeps life moving.
  • You'd like support that builds your own skills and routines, not dependence.
  • You'd like everyday care to feel easier and more comfortable.

What EPNT can provide.

  • meal planning and cooking together
  • shopping trips and errands
  • routines that actually stick
  • keeping your home feeling like yours

What's not included — or depends on your plan

  • How many hours of daily living support you can have depends on your NDIS plan — it is usually funded from the Core part of your plan, and we can help you check.
  • Everyday costs like groceries or household items are yours — our support is the helping hand, not the shopping budget.
  • If you need daily support at home as your main living arrangement, SIL may be a better fit — we will help you work out which.

Where it operates

Across the Darwin region, wherever you live — your own home, with family, or in one of our homes in Lyons, Nakara, Muirhead or Palmerston.

How to get started.

The same simple, no-pressure process — for participants, families and professionals making a referral.

  1. Talk with us

Call 0431 044 443 or send the secure enquiry form. We listen first, answer your questions in plain English, and there is no pressure to decide anything.

  2. Meet and plan together

We get to know you — and the people you choose to involve — and talk about what you'd like support to look like. We also check what your NDIS plan can cover, so there are no surprises.

  3. Start at your pace

If we're the right fit, we agree on a start date and a support arrangement together — and we keep reviewing it with you as your life changes.

No — and that is deliberate. We do things with you, not just for you, so your own skills and routines keep growing. How much we do together is always up to you.

Yes — meal planning and cooking together is one of the most common things we do, from weekly prep to learning a favourite recipe.

Yes. Your support is built around your routines and priorities, and it can flex as life changes. You tell us what matters — we shape the week around it.
