Employment support in Darwin.

Build the skills, confidence and routines that open the door to work — whether that's a first job, volunteering, or getting work-ready.

What it is, in plain English.

Employment support helps you explore, find and keep work — in whatever form work takes for you. That might be a first job, volunteering, work experience, or simply getting work-ready.

We start with what you would enjoy, build the skills and routines to get there, support you with applications and interviews, and stay alongside you once you are in.

Who it may suit

  • Work — in any form — is one of your goals.
  • You're not sure what kind of work you'd enjoy yet and want to explore.
  • You'd like support with applications, interviews or workplace routines.
  • You're already working or volunteering and want support to keep going strong.

What EPNT can provide.

  • exploring what kind of work you'd enjoy
  • building work-ready skills and routines
  • support with applications and interviews
  • ongoing support once you're in

What's not included — or depends on your plan

  • No provider can guarantee a job — and we will never promise one. What we do promise is steady, honest support toward your goal.
  • The level of employment support available depends on what your NDIS plan funds.
  • Employment support is different from a Disability Employment Service (DES). The two can work alongside each other — we are happy to coordinate with your DES provider.

Where it operates

Across the Darwin region — at our office, at your home, out in the community, and eventually at your workplace or volunteer role.

How to get started.

The same simple, no-pressure process — for participants, families and professionals making a referral.

  1. Talk with us

Call 0431 044 443 or send the secure enquiry form. We listen first, answer your questions in plain English, and there is no pressure to decide anything.

  2. Meet and plan together

We get to know you — and the people you choose to involve — and talk about what you'd like support to look like. We also check what your NDIS plan can cover, so there are no surprises.

  3. Start at your pace

If we're the right fit, we agree on a start date and a support arrangement together — and we keep reviewing it with you as your life changes.

Questions people ask us.

Yes — exploring is the first step, not a hurdle. We start with what you enjoy and what you're good at, then try things out: volunteering, work experience or short tasters.

Yes. Volunteering counts — it's a great way to build skills, confidence and a routine, and for many people it's a goal in its own right.

Yes — resumes, applications, interview practice and the routines around work. And once you're in, we can keep supporting you so the job lasts.

No — DES providers focus on job placement, while NDIS employment supports build your capacity and readiness. They work well side by side, and we can coordinate with your DES provider if you have one.
